Hitting Left with the Klonsky Brothers

Bloggers, activists and brothers Mike and Fred Klonsky get together each week, often with special guests in studio and from around the country, to discuss current topics involving politics, education and social justice "from the Left side of the plate." The topics covered may be local, national or international but always with a Chicago sensibility and perspective.

We did have a call-in from 45th Ward Chicago Alderman John Arena who has been waging a good fight to build affordable housing in a neighborhood on Chicago's north west side that desperately needs it. Chicago's long ugly history of segregated housing was re-ignited. We get into it, joined by our producer Jamie Trecker on what's behind it all.
